Stevie Nicks is the matriarch of Treska Maine Coons and the foundation of our breeding program. She exemplifies the strength, balance, and commanding presence that define a truly exceptional Maine Coon, paired with a stable, affectionate temperament. With natural beauty, poise, and quiet authority, Stevie leads instinctively and nurtures with intention. She establishes the standard we breed toward, preserving type, temperament, and presence in every generation that follows.
Stevie is a striking brown patched classic tabby and white, with bold, swirling patterning softened by warm patches of color and crisp white. Her coat is richly textured and eye-catching, balanced by a feminine head, expressive eyes, and the substantial bone and balance the Maine Coon standard calls for. Beyond her beauty, she has a gentle, affectionate nature — observant, people-oriented, and quietly confident — the kind of presence that draws you in and stays with you.
Stevie truly runs the house. She keeps the boys in line with effortless authority, bosses even the biggest males around, and somehow still manages to be the most playful of them all. Whether she’s initiating a game or reminding the older boys that retirement is not an option, Stevie brings energy, intelligence, and unmistakable presence to everything she does. Equal parts beauty, confidence, and charm, she is very much the heart — and the boss — of our home. Despite ruling the house, she’s delightfully playful — once claiming a plastic fork as her favorite toy and carrying it around all evening.
Beneath her confident, in-charge presence, Stevie is the gentlest soul — a devoted chest cat who wants to be as close as possible, preferably with her head tucked under your chin. She purrs like a little motorboat and spends her evenings walking back and forth on the couch between family members, carefully sharing the love, as if it’s her most important job.
